Transportation To & From the Center

Convenient transportation to and from the center, helping participants access services safely and reliably.

Medication Administration

Safe and timely medication support to help participants follow their prescribed medication routines.

Blood Pressure Monitoring

Our team helps monitor participants' blood pressure and general health as part of our commitment to supporting their well-being.

Health Education

We provide health education and helpful information designed to encourage healthy living and informed care.

Meals and Snacks

Participants can enjoy nutritious meal and snack options throughout the day, including: Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks.

Medication Monitoring

We assist with medication monitoring to help participants maintain their prescribed routines.

Socialization

Encouraging friendships, communication, and positive interaction with others.

Mental Stimulation

Activities that keep the mind active, engaged, and focused.

Physical Activity

Simple exercises and movements that promote fitness and overall well-being.

Writing

Encouraging self-expression and creativity through writing activities.

Reading

Providing opportunities to enjoy books and improve mental engagement.

Anger Management

Guidance and support to help participants manage emotions and respond positively.

Smoking Cessation Counseling

Support and counseling to help participants reduce or stop smoking.

Arts and Craft

Creative activities that encourage self-expression, imagination, and enjoyment.

Social Services

Day Activity and Health Services (DAHS) provide services to people who:

  • Receive SSI  and Medicaid
  • Meet the medical criteria established by DAHS

Application for Medicaid is made through Texas Department of Human Services.

Our Social worker will help with eligibility issues:

  • Application Process
  • Arrange for transportation to and from the center
  • We provide weekly transportation to Dollar stores.
  • Provide Psychosocial counseling, health oriented classes and instruction focused on diet, medication compliance, Physical fitness, annual flu vaccine, and TB screening.

Safety Feature:

  • Secured exits with easy to open bars.
  • Entire center is wheel chair and handicap accessible.
  • Controlled access throughout the center.
  • Fire and burglar alarm system approved by the city Fire Marshal.
  • Smoke free facility
  • Monthly fire drills.
  • Annual fire safety inspections.
  • Secured outside covered area.
